Marek Homola joins us to take up the load and share his carbon fibre skills. Marek also brings much needed fabrication, decal and re-spray experience. My aim is to offer sensible, high quality re-spays that should satisfy most enquiries. Here you can see him laying up a Zipp tub and re-finishing a Cervelo S2 after a top tube repair.

Thank you Carbon Bike Repair, having to deal with the injuries caused by malfunctioning carbon seat post failure broken back in two places. I had Giant to battle over the poorly manufactured seat post with inadequate “glue” holding seat into carbon post. Had approached few shops, local bike shops / specialist companies. To my surprise some did not want to get involved with the mightiness of such a company like Giant. In stepped Carbon Bike Repair, who supplied me a comprehensive report on the bike including the seat post. Due to this report Giant has accepted full liability and everything is progressing with the solicitors. Thank you for your competitively, professional report that has helped me so much. THANK YOU.

I've just got my Canyon Ultimate back from repair after damaging one of the seat stays. The quality of repair is truly outstanding. The profile of the tube and the paint match on a matte finish genuinely exceeded my expectations (and I'm very fussy!). I would not hesitate to have my bike repaired here again. After a silly accident at home causing a small dint in my frame's top tube I took it into be repaired at CBR following excellent feed back from fellow cyclists. From first contact to collecting my frame CBR were quick to respond, very professional and clearly loved bikes, spent quite a bit of time when dropping off and picking up chatting to the guys about all thing bike.The process was clear, easy to follow, just what I needed after a stressful incident.The repair was flawless, absolutely like new again, I am very happy with what they have done. I had the paint finished to original and you really can't tell its been repaired.It wasn't cheap but you really do get what you pay for and well worth it in my opinion, I would highly recommend CBR without hesitation.

The rear seat stay in my frame was damaged & whilst I was confident it could be repaired, I was extremely impressed by the quick response for a quote from Carbon Bike Repair.Once they received my frame, they communicated so we could agree the exact repair and paint job I required, and could pass on to my insurer. They kept me informed at all times and completed the repair in under the time estimate.I cannot fault their professionalism and quality.Hopefully, in a few years time, I can also confirm the bike is still riding as good, if not better, than ever!

I have no words to evaluate CBR's work, from the first moment always super attentive and supportive.It was several emails until we figured out how to proceed with several steps, shipments between different countries, repairs, payments, and uncountable questions from my side, being all of them well answered and with as much detail as possible.It was incredible to see the pictures during the work and the final result; I am delighted with the results. Had a crack on the downtube of my old tarmac frame, you can't even see where they have done the repair and the paint restoration of the whole downtube looks amazing. On top of that it was done much faster than expected. Very happy :)

I got my frame repaired after damaging the chain stay due to dropping my chain. Everyone at Carbon Bike Repair were extremely responsive and replied to emails really quickly. The wait time was not too long, and now I have my bike back and rebuilt the damage is completely invisible. I would get a bike repaired here again, and would reccomend anyone with a damaged frame to get it repaired here too!

The guys at CBR really are masters of their trade. I was astonished by the quality of the finish to my repaired Ridley Helium frame. I keep studying it but can't see any sign of the repair...quite incredible. Furthermore, they are a nice bunch of guys and provide a great service. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

This is the 3rd bike for which I have had serviced at CBR. My most recent experience involved a custom re-spray of a Colnago. I had to wait a long time to get the bike re-painted, but that was largely because of Covid. Having finally seen the outcome of their work for the first time today, I am simply blown way. The frame is absolutely stunning. I can't thank these folks enough. Thanks again CBR.

This is a very late review of work done to my Giant Defy about 3 - 4 years ago. The service from these guys was excellent and I did feel like nothing was too much trouble and they acted professionally but the paint finish on my bike was pretty poor, with overspray and underspray where you didn't need it. The paint was also brittle which meant it flaked off everywhere so we gave the bike the nickname Jolly Green Leper. I'm sure their painter was an enthusiastic amateur as the design was good but really not an ideal finish. Anyway, sorry it's late and I can see the guys have moved on since but review added for fairness and balance. I'd probably use them again tbh if they have changed their painter.

Yet more quality work. Unfortunately I've had to use CBR 4 times in 4 years, and can;t think of any aspect I can fault them on. From initial quote, clear process and comms, the repair itself, profiling, paint and then rebuild. I have asked them to do some or all of the above, and it is consistently first class. The team are friendly and knowledgeable My only disappointment is there is only one CBR, and they are busy, so you will need to wait for quality service!

They handled a bike evaluation for the insurers of a driver who hit me. This seemed fine and the evaluation was honest. But in the 8 months they had the bike I moved home and told them 3 times I'd moved when they arranged to send it back to me. Guess what address it still went to? My old one. Now I've got to arrange getting a huge bike box from an address at short notice.*Update - They rang up, apologised and took responsibility. Unusual for a company to do that and much appreciated. 1* increased to 4*.

Almost new Trek Madone SLR7 Project One - snapped steerer stop and bad scratch / chipped paint on forks. My insurance co. told me that as my bike is almost new and due to the quality of paint that I need to send my bike to CBR as they are the best. I put my bike in to CBR based on hearsay from 3 different friends who all called out the same name. I sent my bike in due to a 50kmh over the bars into the desert experience with a cracked top tube...and I am immensely pleased to say that it has come back, absolutely immaculate and as if nothing had happened to it. The workmanship is nothing short of top drawer, but for me, as I am living half way around the world, is the customer service I received. They kept it simple and did what they said they would do. Informed all the way from start to finish, and even when they were busy, they had time for a quick 2 minute call to answer a question of or 2. Impressive company to work with, and no wonder they are busy all the time. Chapeau to all of the team under Doug Addecott's leadership...thanks again guys..!! A big thumbs up from the Middle East..!

If you need your carbon bike repaired this place is fantastic. I've taken my bike here twice. Both times the team here have done a great job. I also had my bike rebuilt here too, the price for a rebuild is on par with other bike shops but the mechanics here are brilliant. They also offer custom paint jobs and refurbishment too. Really nice job to repair my rear brake bridge on a Pinarello Dogma. Without this the frame would have been a write off. Opted for the basic paint finish but that was a really nice, neat, shiny black. Very friendly service, rough quote based on photos by mail was matched by the real one after the guys had a look at the bike. Definitely recommmend this company

We cannot recommend these guys highly enough. Their work is outstanding, whether it be a carbon repair or paint restoration. We've sent them lots of frames, most of which are very high end. Some of the frames have had quite serious crash damages and we have been beyond impressed with the quality and finish on every occasion. Customer service and communication is also excellent.

I recently sent my bike frame here for a repair on two paint chips to the top tube. The price was resonable and about three weeks later I had my bike back. The technicians did a fantastic job at touching it up and it looked like new again which at first I was very happy about.However .... Upon further inspection, when building the bike back up I noticed that there was a new chip on the head tube of the bike that for certain wasn't there before. Extremely annoying. I was told that "it probably happened in postage" however it seems too specifically placed for a postage incident in my mind.On the postage front, one other concerning matter was that the bike was sent back with hardly any protective packaging just a bit of bubble wrap. All of the protective packaging I supplied had been left at the bottom of the box unutalized. Why?To be fair, I did mention this and I was told they would look into repairing this for me but unfortunately I would have to take It apart again and i'm reluctant to send it by courier. I just don't have the time to drop it off in person either.In summary, by all means send your bike here and I'm sure they will do a good repair to your pride and joy. However, I would most certainly drop it off by hand do not send it by courier.3 stars is a fair review in my opinion of my experience with this company.

After my bike frame was damaged in an accident, I didn't know where to go. Two bike shops basically told me I should scrap my bike as it was no longer safe to ride. My insurance didn't have much knowledge on the subject either. My local bike shop recommended Carbon Bike Repair to see what they'd say.I dealt with Ben at CBR. He was extremely efficient, polite and helpful with all my concerns. I felt safe dealing with them, and was very impressed with their workshop when I went there. Ben kept me updated while repair was happening, and with their express service they got the repair done in a week. They have done an excellent job. I have already told people about them and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them as I was so impressed. Carbon Bike Repair came highly recommended by 2 local bike dealers after crack in rear seat stay found. They responded to my phone call and email immediately. On dropping bike off was really impressed with the workshop and with how they explained the processes they follow. They kept me up to date with the progress of the repair and on collection was delighted with the result. The team are clearly passionate about the service they provide. I would highly recommend them.

Astonishingly good; yes it took a while but Rob and team have taken a possible write-off and restored it to as-new. The frame has had 7 years hard use and then a massive head-on. Now it is like new again - well worth the investment.

Odd incident involving a tissue ended up with my rear derailleur cracking both my rear chain stays. Yellow jersey said they had a service to possibly repair it.. u was a little sceptical.Anyhow.. carbon bike repair delivered a box to my house. Had the bike collected and sent back. The actual bike came back as if brand new. The bike had been completely rebuilt and it was much better than any full service I have seen. Regards to the carbon.. you cannot see any evidence that it existed..Overall I am extemely impressed with everything about this company.. and yellow jersey insurance were awesome too

Quality of workmanship is beyond 5 star. Combined with the 5 star service, friendliness, proffesionalism and communication, I can't recommend it highly enough. It is NOT cheap, I pray you have insurance! But the quality is all there.

My top tube got damaged and the guys at CBR have fixed it within two weeks. I was amazed by the result, which is even better than it shows on the photo. Job (very) well done! Would give six stars if I could.

I have used CBR now 3 times to repair 3 different bikes, and each time the service and quality of the job has been excellent.The finish of the bikes has made it look like nothing has been done and as good as new.I cannot recommend them highly enough to take care of your pride and joy!

Found Carbon Bike Repair on a web search but an email exchange soon demonstrated that they knew what they were talking about - certainly a lot more than I did, though perhaps that isn't hard!I took the trouble to visit and the set up is pretty professional. Certainly not fly-by-night.I have nothing to compare in terms of pricing but the quality of the job and the finish was a huge relief and, though they quotes 2-3 weeks, my frame was back in my arms within 10 days. Unfortunately, the lovely finish on the repair makes other parts of the frame look a bit tatty. Bugger!I'll live with that though!Thank you Rob and the CBR team.

Amazing results. Bought an sworks hardtail on eBay, great condition but had a ding on the top tube. Called top bike shop (Sigma), as I was getting them to service it, they suggested I use carbon bike repair. They sorted it in no time, it looks as though it just came from the sworks factory. Was distraught when a pretty large rock was flicked up against the down tube of a new Trek Domane descending MV2 The ding pierced and cracked the carbon frame. Contacted CBR from France and on return, couriered the frame over and 3 weeks later, the repair was so immaculate, I struggled to find the exact spot where the damage was. Very impressive work chaps.

I was told by local bike shop that the carbon lining of my bottom bracket on my Trek Madone 5.2 was worn beyond repair but the boys at CBR fixed it no problems! great price too. Very happy to have the Madone back

The repair done on my son's bike was absolutely first class. It is literally as good as new and they even made good some other paint chips on the top tube. The service was excellent in getting the repair done and to top it off the chaps at head for hills (where you drop and collect the bike from) tightened up his head set before i collected it. I was under pressure to get it repaired as my son was racing - the first race out he won and the second one he came second - i don't know how much that was down to the fact that his beloved bike was back to looking great but I am sure it helped. the important thing for me is that when i come to sell it as he grows out of it I can do so.Thanks
