PREPARING YOUR BIKE FOR A REPAIR

Over time I have received bikes in all sorts of ways. Personal drop-off, which is always nice to meet customers, and postal deliveries.

When delivering a bike for repair please can you bring as little of it as possible. For example I don’t need the wheel set if the frame is damaged. At the same time I understand many of my customers don’t have the specific tools to take off key components. I only need the area cleared in order to work on the bike but you get the idea!

Postal deliveries can throw up some issues for me. Please pack the bike/ frame in a box that I can send it back in. The box should be for bikes. Halfords throw them away! Wrapping the bike in cardboard is dangerous and I don’t recommend this.

Oh before I forget – Please give it a bit of a clean where possible – Thanks!
