Carbon Bike Repair are the premier carbon bicycle repair and paint restoration company in the UK and take work in from all over the world.

We are looking to take on a permanent Paint Shop Sprayer to develop into a fantastic bicycle resprayer.

All training will take place in-house; this is a great opportunity for someone looking to progress their career in painting. We are looking for a bright enthusiastic person who is not afraid to learn and progress. The candidate must be willing to learn new skills and work in a small team.

The role will include the following tasks:

Prepare frames and components for respray
Prepare, mix and colour match paints
Spraying and finishing / polishing bicycle frames.
Use of power tools or manual tools to sand / spray / polish as required in paint spraying process
Create & cut or print decals utilising a cutting machine or Roland printers.
Maintain and keep tools and work stations / spray booths and PPE equipment clean
Follow required health and safety guidelines.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in the use of manual and power tools, including spray guns
Previous experience in spray painting / repairing / craft making / construction / set design or similar
Computer skills and decal printing an advantage
Reasonable English communication skills.
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and to take instruction.
Hands on, ‘can do’, proactive approach with the ability to use your own initiative.
Punctual and tidy

Salary and Benefits:

Full time position
Starting Salary £23,000 to £30,000 per annum, dependant on experience and qualifications
Auto enrolment pension
Holidays 28 days including Bank Holidays
Hours Monday to Friday 08.00 – 16:30 ( 1 hour for lunch ) currently no weekend work
Workshop Team Kit (Shirt / Fleece) will be provided

From start to finish I couldn't have chosen a better company to repair my Pinarello. From the first call to explain the damage I was treated to celebrity service, listening to the issues, coming up with a repair plan and getting it finished withing a very short timescale ready for a cycle event. I was kept in the picture all the way along the line of where the bike was and what was happening. I would recommend them to anyone with a carbon frame issue. 1st class company with brilliant staff.

Props to management and the preppers and painters who did an excellent job on repainting my frame. They did non related damage and painted my chainstay and seatstay too, to make sure i had a proper job done 👌 Painter myself, very happy with the outcome.

Beyond their incredible depth of knowledge of carbon fibre as a material and of its uses in frame design, this company fully understands the meaning of client support. It is clear that their passion for the subject is the main driver behind the business. Repaired frame was returned promptly, painted and looks brand new. From start to finish; a report was provided, feedback to progress was imparted, delivery was received some three days after the account being settled. Lovely people to deal with and an efficient effective (will report back further after a couple of thousand miles) service. I certainly wouldn’t consider going else where if another car runs into me…

Highly recommend these guys for any carbon repair. I found what looked like a fracture on my frame, which CBR quickly confirmed after I sent them a few photos. Great service from start to finish, very personal service, they really care. I was up against time due to an event in France in a few weeks time, and these guys fitted my frame in, did an amazing repair job, and I have now picked it up. Hopefully won't need them again ! but I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Thank you again.

Great experience. After a bike crash i thought my nearly new Specialized Aethos frame was toast but Carbon Bike Repair were excellent. Dropped it off and they said they could fix it and took me through the options. Just 2 weeks later the frame was ready to collect and despite not choosing the paint match option you couldn't tell the repair on the carbon finish. They even called me back the next day because they had not added the initial deposit to my balance so gave me a refund. Friendly service and great to have the bike back again.

If I could give 10 stars I would. What a company! In a world where above and beyond service levels are almost instinct Carbon Bike Repair go to the extremes of upper end client satisfaction! The best and most accommodating company I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with in many years. From the fantastic Tanita, whose efficiency knows no bounds to the incredibly knowledgeable Martin. CBR carried out a fantastic repair on some carbon chain suck and also damage. The paint repair is brilliant and you can’t tell it was repaired. Kamil stripped and rebuilt my bike for me for the work to be carried out and he is a superb mechanic with some useful comments about maintaining the bike in the future. I would highly recommend CBR (and Kamil) if you need a carbon repair carried out to the highest of standards. They also stuck to the timescale quoted in the estimate which is impressive considering how busy they are.

Had a fracture on my Tarmac and I brought my bike down to Martin and Tanita at CBR and my god what a professional service from start to finish. To have a fracture on your carbon frame is worrying enough but thanks to CBR I felt totally at ease when they took my bike. You get updates when there is a change with the progress of your bike which is a nice touch.Can't recommend them enough.Thank you.

Having a damaged top tube and paintwork on a frame is never a good day, however sending it to Carbon Bike Repair was the best decision I’ve made in several years.It’s not a 5 min job so don’t expect to wait less than 2 weeks, but trust me the wait is so worth it. My frame came back looking better than new, no way to know it was damaged and the paintwork is absolutely perfect, even the colour change fade is perfect.I just can’t recommend them enough, money well spent and a frame that could have ended in a skip is now as good if not better than it was newThank you CBR

I'd like to thank Rob G and the team at Carbon Bike Repair for the excellent repair work and service they provide.My Trek Domane SLR Gen4 had a cracked chain stay and some other cosmetic issues. I opted for the full restore which I felt was reasonably priced.Communication with the team throughout the process was outstanding and I couldn't be happier with the result which included a fairly priced courier shipment back to the UAE. The bike looks like new.I will happily recommend them to any who may require this typr of service.
